Dr. Creighton Simmons graduated with highest honors in 1990 from Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, Tennessee. After graduation he completed a one year residency in ocular pathology at Omni Eye Services, also in Memphis.
Dr. Creighton joined Simmons Eye Care in 1991. He practices primary care Optometry, which includes fitting contact lenses, prescribing glasses, children’s exams, and treatment of ocular disease including glaucoma and co-management of cataract and laser surgeries. He was named “Young Optometrist of the Year” for the state of Arkansas in 1995 and served as President of the Arkansas Optometric Association in 2000, and as Legislative Chairman for many years. He was Optometrist of the year 2010.
Dr. Creighton enjoys spending time hiking and biking with his younger son, Cain, and his older son, Dr. Collin Simmons, who recently joined the family practice.
Dr. Creighton is accepting new patients in our Little Rock and Hot Springs locations.
